What is the FaceRemodeling Method?

The FaceRemodeling Method is a manual face sculpting massage developed by Ieva Nelke. It combines buccal massage, performed from inside the mouth, with deep tissue and lymphatic facial massage, treating the face, jaw and neck as one connected system. Rather than focusing on the skin's surface, the method works with the muscular and fascial tension that shapes the contours of the face. Ieva teaches the method to beauty and wellness professionals, and at-home programs are currently in development.

The principles of the method

A combined protocol for visible, lasting change - because no part of the face works alone.

  1. 1

Buccal massage works from inside the mouth. It reaches the deep facial and chewing muscles that are hard to access from the outside.

  2. 2

Deep tissue and fascial massage work where buccal techniques can't reach. Combined, they form a deep anti-ageing therapy: tissue renews from the deeper layers, and skin quality improves as a result.

  3. 3

Facial ageing never happens in just one spot. It's a chain reaction through muscles and fascia, which is why the neck, décolleté and shoulders are always part of the method. That is what makes the results last.

Ieva Nelke, founder of the FaceRemodeling Method

I'm a cosmetology specialist, a registered healthcare practitioner in Latvia and a spa therapist, with 15 years of hands-on experience in deep massage techniques.

Seventeen years ago, face fitness changed the way I understood beauty and ageing. I saw that aesthetic changes can be solved at their cause, not just covered for a while. Since then I've brought together knowledge from cosmetology, osteopathy and physiotherapy into my own manual face sculpting technique, built on the anatomy and physiology of ageing.

I'm 50, and I believe in ageing beautifully and with dignity.

What the FaceRemodeling Method can change

The changes take place at a deep level — through muscle and fascia, down to the position of the bones of the face and skull. By reducing myofascial tension, strain and the pull it exerts on the tissues, the method allows the face to open and rebalance. Wrinkles soften, asymmetry decreases and puffiness resolves. The forehead lifts, the cheekbones sit higher and the facial contours take on a younger, lifted shape.
